 Chris Shivers, born on December 30, 1978, in Natchez, Mississippi, is a renowned American former professional bull rider. He had a distinguished career in the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) circuit, turning professional in 1997 and securing the PBR World Champion title twice, in 2000 and 2003. Throughout his 16-year career, Shivers achieved numerous milestones, including becoming the first bull rider to surpass $1 million in career earnings. He retired after 


the 2012 PBR season, concluding with total earnings nearing $3.3 million. In recognition of his contributions to the sport, Shivers was inducted into the PBR Ring of Honor in 2013 and the Bull Riding Hall of Fame in 2017.
