 In January 2021, bull rider Justin Dallas experienced a severe accident during a rodeo event. While riding, he was thrown off and subsequently stomped on by the bull, resulting in critical injuries. He suffered crushed lungs and ribs, along with internal bleeding. To address these injuries, Justin underwent a major surgical procedure known as a thoracotomy, which involved repairing his damaged ribs and addressing the internal bleeding.

Following the surgery, Justin remained hospitalized for an extended period, receiving intensive care and monitoring. His recovery journey was challenging, but updates from his family indicated gradual improvements over time. Support from the rodeo community and well-wishers played a significant role in his rehabilitation process.
