President Donald J. Trump's 2025 Inaugural Address – A New Chapter for America

On January 20, 2025, during his second inaugural address, President Donald Trump declared the beginning of a "golden age" for America. He emphasized that the nation would flourish and regain global respect, stating, "From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world." He pledged to prioritize American interests, asserting, "During every single day of the Trump administration, I will, very simply, put America first."

President Trump criticized the previous administration, alleging that a "radical and corrupt establishment" had misused power and wealth at the expense of citizens. He promised to end the "vicious, violent, and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department and our government." He also announced plans to reclaim national sovereignty, restore safety, and rebalance the scales of justice.

In his speech, he referenced surviving an assassination attempt, stating, "Just a few months ago, in a beautiful Pennsylvania field, an assassin’s bullet ripped through my ear. But I felt then and believe even more so now that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again." He concluded with a commitment to uphold the nation's core values: "We will not forget our country, we will not forget our Constitution, and we will not forget our God."
