A mother and daughter who got pregnant at the same time gave birth to boys just two weeks apart - and the uncle and nephew will now start school in September.

Melanie Warburton, 44, came home to tell her daughter Keesha, 24, she was pregnant after her six-week scan in June 2018 - the same as Keesha, who took a pregnancy test that revealed the news good.

The pair, from Atherton, Greater Manchester, went to doctor's appointments together, shopped for baby clothes and even had a party together, reports Daily Mail, the Telegraph reports.

Melanie gave birth to her son, Grayson – her third child – by caesarean section on January 15, 2019, while Keesha gave birth to her son Carter two weeks later on January 29. Both are now four years old.

"I came down the stairs with a pregnancy test in my hand and there was my mom with a scan that she had recently done," Keesha, a trainee teaching assistant, shared about her pregnancy experience.

"It was amazing going through the pregnancy and giving birth with her," Keesha added. Melanie, 44, a stay-at-home mother, called the experience "wonderful". /Telegraph/
